In Iasi there is one of the oldest churches standing, from an architectural point of view, the church Saint "John the Baptist", which dates back to the XVII-th century, the construction being started by the Hospodar Miron Barnovschi and finalised by Hospodar Vasile Lupu. Unfortunately the whole complex finds itself in an advanced degradation state, fact for which it fast necessitates consolidation and restoration work. This responsability comes on our shoulders; but with this, a great oportunity appeared for our generation, the opportunity to write its name in the history and in the Kinkdom of God by restoring and bring back the value of something spiritual and cultural that was created with the sacrifice of our predecessors.

We want to make you a participant to this distinguished activity by inviting you to give your financial support, support which will help us with our actions. With our modest possibilities and the support of our parishioners, mainly pensioners, we managed to come up with all the needed documentation and needed projects by the nowadays legislation. The full cost of this was around 50.000 RON (around 13900EUR), money hard to gather. For your generosity, for your apreciation and support for the cultural and spiritual national values but also for the receptivity shown toward the immediate needs of our Church, we assure you of all our valuing and esteem.
